Portfolio of Works
Fiber Art
I enjoy creating in a variety of mediums, including using wool to create unique felted pieces. These are inspired by Oregon's beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape and activities. I am especially inspired by The Enchanted Forest Amusement Park in Turner, Oregon.
Mini Landscapes
These tiny magical little landscapes are inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. At only 4x4 inches, they can sit on a shelf or be hung on a wall. Rendered with acrylic in an impressionist impasto technique, these capture the feeling of the landscapes they were inspired by. Perfect for gifting!
See Food Series
This is a collection of four 10x10 acrylic paintings, done on paper and mounted on canvas. It was done for the Sherwood Center for the Arts annual Four Eights show.
Each painting represents a type of seafood, which I've depicted as art. In this way, the images stand alone - not as part of a meal, or a still life, or in their natural habitat. I hope this invites the viewer to appreciate the beauty in seafood, whether as a meal or art.
This show will be on display to the public: October 10 - December 8, 2024.
Gallery Opening Reception: October 16, 2024 | 6pm - 8pm
Pet Portraits
These pet portraits are in private collections. They were created to honor and memorialize a beloved pet.
Abstract Landscapes
This is a collection of various abstract landscapes, varying in size from a tiny 4x4 panel, to 16x20 gallery edge canvas.
Watercolor Abstracts Series
This is a series of small abstract works, rendered in watercolor and mounted on to 5x7 panels. Each image is open to the viewer's interpretation, although the titles reflect the influencing source image. This collection was displayed in the West Linn City Hall in June 2024, and West Linn Library in July 2024.
